In Austria, providers of information on websites shall publish a site notice in accordance with Sect. 5 (1) Austrian E-Commerce Act (ECG). Such a site notice shall include the provider’s name, address, contact details as well as business details, if applicable. By way of the Austrian E-Commerce Act, the Austrian legislator has implemented the European Directive on Electronic Commerce 2000/31/EC.
